Background Checks (2021)

All volunteers who serve in a Beach Club, must complete a KBC background check before they can serve in club. They are required to watch a video about our policies and procedures, read the KBC Child Protection Policy and agree to the organization’s Statement of Faith. Once a prospective volunteer verifies they have watched the video and read those documents, they will proceed to their background check. 

1. Click the link below or on the orange LOGIN tab at the bottom of any page of the KBC website

2. Click the orange Volunteer Background Check button

3. Watch the Policies and Procedures video

4. Read the KBC Child Protection Policy and the KBC Statement of Faith

5. Click the green Continue to Agreement Form button

6. Fill out the Volunteer Agreement Form; select Yes for using cell phone to contact you; type the name of your Beach Club/School, School District, and Sponsoring Church; click Submit and Continue to Background Check button

7. On next page, that says You’re almost done. Click the orange Please Complete Your Background Check button

8. Finally, you’ll be able to fill out your background check application; select District from the list of Current Ministry Opportunities in the left column

9. In the right column, select School From the next screen, click Proceed

10. In the pop-up box, click Yes to continue

11. Fill out Personal Information

12. Continue through application before submitting

13. You may now go to your Club Page and click "Volunteer Today!" and your registration will automatically populate.
